The Romeria Torremolinos 2017

Almost 200.000 people come to Los Manantiales Pine Grove to follow the pilgrim way to the Hermitage in a festive ambiance with singing and dancing. Dozens of decorated carts, some pulled by oxen, form a caravan to take part in the pilgrimage and there is a prize for the best decorated cart.

Some days later, the San Miguel Fair starts and everyone comes out to participate in one of the most popular fairs in the province. During the day, the local people and visitors meet in the centre of the town to enjoy music, food and drink, this carries on until it is time for the night fair on the Esplanada de San Miguel fairground.
