Romeria Torremolinos 2019
The Romería of Torremolinos 2019 took place on Sunday, September 22. From 9 am the carts and tractors met on the Avenida de los Manantiales at the height of the Los Palacios urbanization. There were this year 18 oxcarts and 39 tractors with trailers that fled the streets of Torremolinos of color and music.
The pilgrimage is declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest and is considered the most important urban pilgrimage in Spain.
This year again, more than 200’000 people came to the centrum of Torremolinos to enjoy the pilgrimage of San Miguel. The route of the Pilgrimage of San Miguel of this year was the same as last year: Avenida de los Manantiales, Avenida Isabel Manoja, Avenida Palma de Mallorca, Joan Miró, Rafael Quintana Rosado, Carretera de Benalmádena and Cruce del Pozuelo) until pine forests of Torremolinos where thousands of people gathered to enjoy throughout the day.

Like every other year, Torremolinos Televisión – ttv – was present for the direct, with Carolina López, Roxanna Panero and Sebas Suaza Soto.
They are there for security and organization
The Local Police, Civil Protection and Fire Brigade were as usual present to take care of security and organization. Without their precious help, this day would not be possible.
